Bristol Circle by Studio William Hefner

One of the things I enjoy the most is when I stumble upon an architect whose work I’ve been admiring but didn’t know it was theirs. This is exactly what happened with Studio William Hefner, I have been drooling over this dining room photo probably since I started using pinterest but couldn’t find the designer.

You can see why I became a stalker: the wood floors, the blue velvet, the mouldings but specially the antique mirrored niche. Then one day I stumbled upon Studio William Hefner‘s Houzz profile and voila I got the long-awaited answer to who was responsible for this stunning room.
The only room perfectly done isn’t the dining room, you have to see the rest of the house, so I’m featuring a couple more pictures so that you can see how well executed throughout.

I would love to know what you think!

Designer Spotlight – Greg Natale Design

As I mentioned last week I was working on a spotlight to showcase the great talent that is found in Greg Natale Design. Greg Natale Design has been operating in Australia since 2001, and they offer residential, retail and commercial design.

Today’s post focuses on the Astor Apartment which is the project that I gave you a sneak peak to last week with the green kitchen post, if you missed it I recommend you go over to it by clicking the link.

All images are via Greg Natale’s website, you can see more images of this project by going here and remember to check out friday’s post of the green kitchen that is part of this project by going here.

Let me know what you think!

Spotlight Kelly Hoppen

Kelly Hoppen’s style is timeless and that’s why I love her work, it’s classic timeless with modern elements that just speaks to me. She started her career at the age of 17, very young I know, but boy she sure has mastered the art of design; her color choices the use of specific modern elements, the selection of materials it’s all simply perfect.

You can see more examples of her work by clicking here.

Spotlight – David Jimenez

A designer must be able to do different home styles, that is one of the fundamentals. And if you are a GREAT designer you are able to execute different styles to perfection, that’s why today’s post features two completely different styles from the brilliant David Jimenez.

David Jimenez is currently the vice president of visual merchandising and store design for Hallmark Cards, and during his career he has played a role in developing the visual aesthetic of pottery barn and restoration hardware.

What I really love of his designs is that there isn’t a single detail that isn’t thought off or that is left behind, the rooms are perfectly finished and every single element in them adds to the feeling of the space.

Hope you enjoy them!
